Christmas Cards
Thank you to all the teachers who encouraged the learners to produce such lovely Christmas art. There were snowflakes, reindeer, Christmas trees and presents and a Santa stuck in a chimney! Many parents ordered cards and the wrapping paper and gift labels were popular this year. With your support, we should raise about £280 from this year's project. Click here to see some wrap.

Help Needed
| There are lots of ways you can help and support your child through ASSA. Offering to help before events or at other times during the year is so valuable. It doesn’t matter if you can’t help on a regular basis, or even if you cannot come into school. There are always jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. wrapping gifts, preparing raffle tickets etc. We really couldn’t achieve what we do without the behind the scenes without the help that we receive and we would really like Year 3 and Year 4 parents to volunteer to shadow current organisers’ to find out what’s involved and possibly take on the role either solely or jointly with another person. |
| If you can help in any way to either set up before the event or at the event itself, please email us:

| One of the ways ASSA raises funds that make a contribution to the school is by running the Club 200. It's run as follows : |
| ♦ All subscribers may purchase one or more numbers at a cost of £20 per number for the year. If you prefer you may pay £10 for the first five draws and then re-enter in February for a further £10. |
| ♦ A number is allocated to each entry. This will be your number for the rest of the year. |
| ♦ From each subscription 50% is awarded as prize money and 50% to school funds. The prize money is then shared 60% to the first drawn number and 40% to the second. |
| ♦ A draw takes place each month throughout the school year, usually at an ASSA event with the prizes forwarded to the winners at the earliest opportunity. |

Mothers Day Sale
Mother's Day 2013 Report
On Thursday 7th and Friday 8th March, the children were brought in class by class to the ASSA Mother's Day room where they could chose and purchase presents bought and wrapped by the ASSA Committee. The children had a choice of many items which included, chocolate, flowers, candles, toiletries, key rings, bookmarks, mugs, jewellery and some me to you bears. Demand was so great on the first day that more presents had to be purchased on the Thursday evening so as to ensure that all the children who wanted to buy a present were able to. In total 510 presents, were purchased by the children, resulting in a profit of £650. ASSA hope that you liked the present that your child chose and that you had a lovely Mother's Day. Thank you to all the mums who donated, bought and wrapped presents and also to those who helped out with the selling on the two days.

Christmas Fair |
| The school Christmas Fair last Saturday was opened by not one, but two Olympic torch bearers as pictured. The event was the great success it promised to be under the leadership of Ros Kyle, a new member to the ASSA team, the arrangements went like clockwork. It was wonderful to see so many parents and children attend all having fun at the tombola’s, toys stalls, in the rainbow room, and buying Christmas goodies in the main hall market, all to live music. Thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of ASSA members, parent helpers and staff we were able to raise around £3,500 and all have a great time in the process. …….. and a big thank you for the generosity of all those parents, friends and relatives who attended the fayre and dug deep all in a great cause ….. our school and the children of All Saints. ASSA would like to wish all staff and parents at All Saints a very happy and peaceful Christmas. |
