This term our topic is Ancient Egyptains and the Water Cycle

Last term all of Year 4 went to sea as we were Elizabethan sailors for a day!

We learnt a sea shanty, explored seaweed,

made plasticine boats that we hoped would float,

made a poster about the Mary Rose and

performed a dance about firing a cannon on a ship. A busy day!


We learnt an sea shanty which is a sailor's song which they sang while they worked	It was called 'Spanish Ladies' and was written in 1624
