Welcome to the Performing Arts page

The arts are very important to us at All Saints and there is always a lot going on

both as part of the curriculum and in our after school clubs.

We hope you enjoy exploring this part of our website and finding out what we have been up to.

Music

Every day there are music lessons at school.   Click here to find out more.

We also have an orchestra, Chamber choir and a school choir, and lots of recorder groups.

They get to take part in concerts and competitions.

For the last five years our Chamber choir have been to the National Festival of Music for Youth in Birmingham. Last year our orchestra were invited and this year our dance group got to go.

 Drama

We have two drama clubs - the Lower School and Upper School.

The Lower School Drama Club work all autumn term and perform a nativity play and take part in a play in the spring term.

In the summer term, The Upper School Drama Club perform a play they have been working on all year!

This year was 'Cinderella' and in previous years we've been treated to 'Beauty and the Beast', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Bugsy Malone', 'Aladin', 'Annie', 'The Wizard of Oz' and many more.

Drama is also woven into so many of our lessons and class assemblies.

Dance

At Dance Club pupils choreograph their own routines and get to take part in competitions.

There are also plenty of opportunities to dance in our curriculum from Kala Dancing in our

Year 4 India project to Sailors at Sea in the Tudor project.

This year we are working on a Stomp style dance with an African twist. It is inspired by life in The Gambia and danced to drum rythms that Mrs Wyld collected during her stay in The Gambia.
